The 2018 High School Girls Lacrosse season is going to be better than ever! With the amazing job of fundraising last year, we were able to purchase uniforms, equipment and customized canopies. Jessica is back coaching Varsity for her 18th season with Kali Bills and David Moore-Beiler as the assistant coaches. Gabby Hitchcock will be coaching JV. Chaparral continues to have the best players, coaches and parents around!
Chaparral Girls Lacrosse is open to all players in 9th-12th grade that go to Chaparral High School. Lacrosse is a club sport in AZ, not sanctioned by AIA. If your school does not have a girls lacrosse club program and we are the closest school to your residence then you are eligible to play for Chaparral.
We encourage all beginners to come out and play. We have many first timers, year after year...so don't let this hold you back from playing. We welcome you with open arms!

Big congrats to our very own 7 players that were selected to play for Arizona's WNT team: Abi, Aran, Kelly, Gemma, Hannah, Sophia and Isabella for being selected as an alternate. Coach Kali was also selected as the head coach for this team. We are all so proud of EVERYONE that tried out and represented our program. WAY TO GO!
If it rains or you have any doubt about practice being canceled, we will always update the website's scroll bar if there is a cancelation. Rain outs strictly depend on if the city cancels the fields or not. They usually will not check the field until around 2:30pm so please do not call to ask if it is prior to that time.

Jessica Livingston on the Cover of US Lacrosse Magazine
Jessica Livingston has become a well-known name in Arizona
lacrosse. The Arizona lacrosse community knows how committed she is to growing lacrosse here in the Valley, but
she is also committed to growing lacrosse on a national level.
We know her at AZGL as the founder of this organization. We also know she is the head coach of the Chaparral Varsity Girls Lacrosse Club in Scottsdale and has lead them to three state titles. In her quest to grow lacrosse at a national level, she has served on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors and many other committees in the past. Today she serves on the US Lacrosse Youth Subcommittee, Coaches Education Committee, and Sport and Development Committee. She is also a Level 1 certified trainer in the US Lacrosse Coaching Education Program. In 2010, she received the Excellence in Growing the Game award from US Lacrosse.
The list of achievements and national boards and committees that she has served on goes on. As the article in US Lacrosse January 2012 issue states, she is definitely one of the top 10 people changing youth lacrosse now. AZGL, and the Arizona lacrosse community in general, is incredibly lucky to have a great leader like Jessica.
US Lacrosse has selected Jessica Livingston of Scottsdale, Arizona as the winner of the 2010 Excellence in Growing the Game National award. You can see her in the US Lacrosse Magazine, page 13 of the February 2011 issue. | Read Press Release
